The reopening will be held at 7PM on September 17, 2011 in the upstairs meeting room adjacent to the Library, with a few speakers and ribbon cutting ceremony. A tour of the library by librarian Mary Lanham and refreshments will be served following the event. This event is free and open to the public.

Cleaning up for the Grand Reopening of the Adam Mickiewicz Library

Over the past several weeks, all of the books and other materials from the Polish Resource Center have been moved out of the upstairs hall. Most of the materials have been moved to the library’s annex on the third floor. The older materials have been placed in the back room of the library.

The hall is completely clear in preparation for the Library’s Grand Reopening which takes place on Saturday, September 17th at 7 pm.

We have cleared the bookcase from in front of the side door and put the journals into the bookcase nearest to the front door.
